Good Morning!

As we start this new month and year I want to lay out what the next few weeks will look like.

In ELA the students are working on completing their personal narrative books. These books will be on display during the Academic Fair during the weekend of January 19th.

We just began reading, "Night of the Twister." I have set up a reading plan for the month and given each student a copy of when each chapter is due. Along with having to read the students have worksheets and vocabulary that goes along with each chapter. The date that the chapters are due there is always a possibility for a vocab and comprehension quiz.

January 5th As told by Dan Hatch and 5 o"clock
January 9th 6 o'clock and 7 o'clock
January 11th 8 o'clock and 9 o'clock
January 17th The Next Hour or So and Later on
January 19th 11 o'clock and Midnight
January 24th Early Morning and As Remembered One Year Later

In Social Studies we are starting the Unit on Ancient China
Here is the tentative quiz schedule:
January 18th
